In July, 2002, my 17-year-old daughter, Vanessa, and I will walk 60 miles with the Avon Breast Cancer 3 Day event. The walk is from San Jose to San Francisco. We are pledged to raise at least $3800. Seventeen is the youngest age allowed to participate. And this was her idea!
